Training we offer
Refugee Resource offers training and presentations on issues concerning refugees and asylum seekers.
The training is for health, social care and education professionals, others working with refugees and asylum seekers, and employers.
Training can include
refugees and asylum seekers – who are they and why are they here
meeting the psychosocial needs of refugees and asylum seekers
working transculturally
working with interpreters
right to work documentation, working within race discrimination legislation and other employment issues.
Training can be arranged to meet your needs.
We also offer consultation to service providers on individual cases by phone.
Refugee Resource also makes representation on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers in strategic contexts, e.g. in government consultations, through Common Purpose, and ChangeUp voluntary sector infrastructure development.
